Exposing Canada’s Double-Standard Approach towards Palestinian
What should he eat?
The surroundings are filled with dirt. This tent is not suitable for living. There is no electricity outlet in it. The struggle continues for Yasser, a 9-year-old orphan, and his mother as they try to navigate their new life in their new tent. Their tent is strategically located between two streets in Rafah, only 45 minutes away from the nearest water resource. After all, it cost them 2000 USD, or shall we say, it cost them all their life savings?
Yasser lost his father 9 years ago in a mistaken missile strike by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in 2014. A similar missile demolished their house in 2023, again by mistake.
The IDF is named in the most accurate way, defending themselves from the unarmed innocent landowners. It’s like when a group of thieves intrude your house with heavy guns, kill half your family, then keep you locked in the smallest room in the house and start roaming in the house calling themselves house defenders. You will be killed and named a terrorist if you try to defend your home.
